Scooter rental is the most economical way to get around Placencia. With one tank of fuel being able to run for more than 40 miles, we are sure there won’t be any trouble going up and down the Placencia peninsula. Scooters are rented on an hourly basis only.
Scooter rentals are not allowed to be kept on an overnight basis. Some properties on Placencia, do not make it efficient or safe to keep Scooters overnight. Some properties are completely sandy (soft sand) and this does not allow Scooter renters to properly secure scooters at night.
Barefoot Services may consider allowing a renter to keep scooter over night, depending on the hotel or property at which the renter is staying.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
To confirm any reservation a valid Master Card, Visa or AMEX credit card is required at booking. A one day deposit is collected for Rentals. 50% is collected for Charter service.
A full refund minus 20% administrative fee will be granted if written cancellation is received more than 2 days prior to reserved date. No refund if written cancellation is received 2 days or less prior to reserved date.
Special Note: No refund if written cancellation is received 7 days or less prior to reserved date in the peak times of Dec 20-Jan 5 and Easter break.
